the history of nop

All started 1983 with the idea to do something creative in a collective way. And to build a medium to give other people the chance to do the same.

After a time of discussion the idea of NOP was born.

NOP # 1 was printed at 6th of May 1983 and the whole edition was sold in a very short time. RECREC Zurich wrote .... the most intelligent dada magazine in the last 100 years.... and it was distributed to Bern, Paris, Guadalupe, Italy, Zurich, Germany, Mt. View - USA and Küsnacht. One English translation was done. After NOP # 2 and #3 we had over 50 subscribers (some of them are still waiting for #10 and #11......).
